Peanut Butter
Ice Cream Recipe

Peanut butter ice cream is the ultimate frozen treat for peanut butter lovers. The addicting creamy taste of peanut butter combined with the frozen texture of ice cream makes this an irresistible treat!

Peanut Butter Ice Cream Recipe

Just why is peanut butter so addicting?

As a kid, I remember wanting to eat peanut butter straight out of the jar with a spoon. But I wasn’t allowed to do this, because it wasn’t safe.

Did you know it is very easy to choke on a spoonful of peanut butter?

Thankfully, I now have a solution to my childhood dilemma.

I can eat this ice cream with a spoon all I want!

The Verdict: Peanut Butter Ice Cream Recipe

If you don’t like peanut butter, than stay away.

But if you have a weakness for the smooth creaminess of peanut butter, you will just love this frozen treat.

So for all those “peanut butter straight out of the jar” peanut-fans, here’s an new way to indulge in your favorite treat.

This dessert is extra soft because of the added peanut butter.

One of the reasons ice cream is smooth and creamy and not icy is because of the fat content.

So when we add peanut butter to the base, we’re taking away from the icy-ness and up-ing the soft, creamy, delicious texture!

Variations

You can enjoy this ice cream as is or  you can change it up a bit.

Who doesn’t like chocolate and peanut butter together?

Feel free to add chocolate chips or small chocolate chunks during the last 5 minutes of processing in your ice cream maker.

This fun ice cream flavor also makes a great base for a delicious chocolate sundae.

It can be spiced up with mix-ins like chocolate chips, finely chopped peanuts, and ice cream sauces.
