Chocolate Ice Cream

Chocolate Goat Milk Ice Cream Recipe

Goat milk ice cream is delicious!

Sometimes goat milk can have a strong “goat-y” flavor. Some people like it and some people don’t.

We have dairy goats. I’ve seen the reaction on some people’s faces when they tried it for the first time.

With this ice cream recipe, you won’t subject yourself or your friends to that strong goat flavor.

Finding Goat Milk

If you don’t have the luxury of your own goats in your own backyard, don’t worry! Goat milk is easy to find.

Most grocery stores stock Goat Milk.

It’s right beside the regular cow’s milk in my grocery store, but some stores may stock it in the alternative milk section.

Whatever the case, it shouldn’t be hard to find. Goat Milk is often tolerated by some people whose body cannot handle dairy.

I love having my own supply of goat milk right out my back window.

As an avid ice cream maker, I can never have enough milk, folks.

Look at this little cutie who was just born a couple of weeks ago.

Easy Goat Milk Ice Cream

In order to produce goat milk, a goat has to have babies every year.

Making Variations of This Ice Cream

This is a recipe for Chocolate Chocolate Goat Milk Ice Cream, but you could easily make it into plain vanilla. Simply leave the chocolate out.

I really like the texture of this ice cream. It is soft and silky.

This was my first taste of ice cream with goat milk.

I thought it was delicious.

Serving Tip:

If you want to add a little bit of flair to your scoop of ice cream, you can garnish with shaved chocolate.
