If you love ice cream, wouldn’t you love to own a Cold Stone franchise?

In 1988, Cold Stone Creamery was started by Don and Susan Sutherland in Tempe, Arizona. They had a dream of turning ice cream into a work of art. Today, with over 1400 Cold Stone franchises around the world, the people who keep things running still focus on the original mission: “We will make people happy.”

Cold Stone Franchise Information

The ice cream available at each Cold Stone Creamery is made fresh every day with each flavor and combination mixed on the frozen granite slab that gives the franchise its name. Each unique flavor is called a “Creation,” and more Creations are continually being invented.

Support and Training

If you decide a Cold Stone Creamery franchise is for you, you can fill out an application and submit financial information to the Franchise Development Team. To find out the investment needed to start a Cold Stone Creamery franchise, check out the most up-to-date information at Cold Stone Creamery costs.

Once you apply and are accepted as a Cold Stone Creamery franchisee, the Team is on hand to help you through all the steps to set up a successful business. They will assist you in finding the right location, negotiating the lease, and designing your site.

You will then be given two weeks of intensive training at the headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona. When that is complete you are given a checklist to guide you through the finals steps of preparing your site to represent the Cold Stone brand.

You can always find help and advice on the Cold Stone Intranet. Marketing programs, promotions, and many other suggestions for success are shared by the many Cold Stone Creamery franchises around the world.

What They’re Looking For

Cold Stone wants franchisees who love ice cream and who are dedicating to supporting the company culture. Cold Stone Creameries aren’t there merely to serve ice cream: they’re there to spread happiness and put smiles on people’s faces. They are committed to being involved in the community and supporting the good causes around them.
