Cinnamon Ice Cream Recipe

Philadelphia Style

Prep Time: 7 minutes
Ice Cream Maker Time: Approximately 20-25 minutes
Makes: 1 1/2 quarts
Servings: Ten 1/2 cup servings

Ingredients:

1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
If you don't have an ice cream maker, click here.

Mix milk and sugar together using a wire whisk or hand mixer so that the sugar completely dissolves.

Stir in heavy cream, vanilla, and cinnamon, making sure that the cinnamon is well blended throughout.

Pour mixture into your ice cream maker.

Mix about 20-25 minutes.

Helpful Hint: Cinnamon has a tendency to sink to the bottom of the ice cream mixture, so make sure that the ice cream is freshly stirred before pouring it in the ice cream maker!

Cinnamon Ice Cream Recipe

Custard/Cream Style

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Ice Cream Maker Time: Approximately 20-25 minutes
Makes: 1 1/2 quarts
Servings: Ten 1/2 cup servings

Ingredients:

2 large eggs
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup milk
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
If you don't have an ice cream maker, click here.

Whisk eggs until they are light and fluffy (1 to 2 minutes).

Gradually, stir in sugar, then whisk for 1 minute.

Add milk, heavy cream, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Stir until it's completely blended, making sure the cinnamon is blended throughout.

Pour into ice cream maker.

Mix about 20-25 minutes or according to manufacturer's directions.

Enjoy your homemade ice cream!

Helpful Hint: Since cinnamon will settle at the bottom of the ice cream mixture, be sure to stir the ice cream before pouring it into your ice cream machine!
