Playing off the classic "cookie dunked in milk" flavor, this recipe is a winner.

heavy cream

vanilla

Instructions
If you don't have an ice cream maker, click here.
Melt unsweetened chocolate, using a double boiler.
Add cocoa powder and stir constantly until mixture is smooth.
Add milk, stirring with a whisk until mixture is smooth and blended.
Remove from heat and cool.
Meanwhile, whisk eggs until they are light and fluffy (1-2 minutes).
Gradually stir in sugar and whisk for 1 minute.
Add heavy cream and vanilla to egg mixture.
Stir in cooled chocolate mixture.
Chill for 2 hours until cold.
Pour into your ice cream maker.
Mix in ice cream machine for 20-25 minutes or according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Add crushed cookies to chocolate ice cream.
Churn an additional 5 minutes.
Enjoy a bowl full of chocolate cookie ice cream!
***Helpful Hint:
Place cookies in a Ziploc bag. Seal bag. Crush cookies using the heel of your hand.
