milk

granulated sugar

heavy whipping cream
¾

creamy peanut butter

tsp
vanilla extract
Instructions
How to make ice cream without an ice cream maker.
Beat eggs until they are light and fluffy.
Gradually, whisk sugar into eggs. Set aside.
In a saucepan, heat milk until it just begins to boil.
Pour hot milk over beaten eggs. Stir well.
Return mixture to saucepan and heat over low heat, but do not allow it to boil.
Stir constantly until the mixture begins to stick to the back of your spoon and becomes thick. Remove from heat.
Stir in peanut butter until completely blended.
Cool and chill in refrigerator for at least 3 hours until cold.
Add cream and vanilla to cooled mixture.
Pour into ice cream maker.Mix until thick about 25-30 minutes or according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Serve with chocolate if desired!
