What can be better than a creamy orange ice cream. Delicious. Keep it simple - just orange - or add shaved chocolate for an extra special treat.

heavy whipping cream

orange juice
bottled or freshly squeezed
1/3
cup
sugar
(or a bit more if you’d like!)

lemon juice

orange zest
(optional – gives the ice cream a classy look and taste)

vanilla extract

cup
shaved chocolate
(optional)
Instructions
If you don’t have an ice cream maker, click here.
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, stirring until mixed and sugar is dissolved.
Pour the ice cream mixture to your ice cream machine and mix according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Churn about 25 minutes or according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Add shaved chocolate during the last 5 minutes of mixing, if desired.
