chocolate chips

cookie dough

***Helpful Hint:
Cookie Dough
You can make this dough while you're ice cream maker is churning the ice cream base.
Cream butter, sugars, and vanilla until blended.
Add flour and salt.
Stir until well mixed.
Form into small balls about the size of a large chocolate chip.
*Don't make them too big or they will jam your ice cream maker.
Ice Cream Base
Mix milk and sugar until the sugar dissolves (about 1 -2 minutes – a hand mixer or whisk works well).
Add heavy cream and vanilla extract.
Pour mixture into the ice cream maker.
Mix in ice cream maker about 15-20 minutes or according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Meanwhile, prepare cookie dough.
Add chocolate chips and cookie dough balls to ice cream mixture.
Mix for 5 more minutes in ice cream maker.
