Instructions
Learn how to make ice cream without an ice cream maker.
Heat milk in saucepan until it just begins to bubble around the edges.
Meanwhile, whisk eggs for 1-2 minutes until they are light and fluffy.
Gradually, whisk in sugar, then stir for 1 minute more.
Pour about half of the hot milk over the eggs and blend well.
Pour remaining milk over eggs and combine.
Return to saucepan and continue to warm over low heat.
Stir constantly until mixture thickens and begins to stick to the back of your spoon.
Chill about 3 hours or until completely cool.
After milk cools, add cream and vanilla, stirring until completely blended.
Add green food coloring to achieve desired color.
Pour into ice cream maker and mix for about 25 minutes or according to manufacturers instructions.
Meanwhile, measure out mint chocolate pieces, white chocolate, and graham cracker pieces.
Chill these 3 mix-ins in the refrigerator or freezer and then add during the last 5 minutes of mixing.
Enjoy! Happy St Patrick's Day!
