cake mix of your choice

eggs
½
cup
granulated sugar

heavy whipping cream

tsp
vanilla extract
Instructions
How to make ice cream without an ice cream maker.
In a saucepan over medium low heat, combine milk and cake mix.
Stir constantly until mixture starts to bubble.
Beat eggs until they are light and fluffy.
Gradually stir in sugar and beat for 1 min.
Pour hot cake mixture over eggs, mixing well.
Pour mixture back into saucepan and heat over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and begins to stick to the back of a spoon.
Remove from heat and chill in fridge (about 3 hours).
Stir in cream and vanilla.
Pour into ice cream maker.
Mix about 15-20 minutes or according to manufacturer’s instructions.
