This key lime ice cream recipe is fresh and full of citrus flavor. It's a refreshing treat on a hot day.

(bottled or fresh squeezed – about 4 limes)
Ice Cream Base
If you don’t have an ice cream maker, click here.
Combine lime juice and 3/4 cup sugar and set aside.
Mix milk and 3/4 cup sugar, whisking well until sugar has completely dissolved.
Stir in whipping cream.
Add lime juice and combine well.
***Taste test to ensure that the ice cream base is sweet enough for you.
Pour mixture into ice cream maker.
Churn about 25-30 minutes or according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Key Lime Pie Ice Cream Recipe:
If you’d like to turn this ice cream into Key Lime Pie ice cream, just add 1/2 – 3/4 cup of broken graham crackers to the ice cream during the last 5 minutes of mixing.
