Slushies

Slushies always seem to hit the spot on a hot summer day. They're an easy treat to make and you can make the flavor of your choice!

Here are some Slushie Ideas:

Coke
Root Beer
Cream Soda
Grape Juice
Orange Juice
Lemonade
Kool-Aid
Green Tea (sweetened)
Any beverage you're craving!

*Note: Do not use sugar-free drinks - since the sugar is needed to prevent the liquid from freezing into 1 giant ice cube!

Prep Time: 3 minutes...or less!
Ice Cream Maker Time: Approximately 15 minutes
Servings: 4-5 one cup servings

Ingredients:

4 cups of the beverage of your choice

Directions:

Pour beverage into your ice cream maker.

Mix about 15-20 minutes.

Serve this frozen drink immediately or store in your freezer in an air tight container.

*Note: If you choose to store slushie mixture in your freezer, remove from freezer 20 minutes before serving to allow the mixture to soften.
